Law Reporter work experience placement, with the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for England and Wales ('ICLR')​

Overview:​

​

BVL is partnering with the publisher of law reports and provider of legal research tools, ICLR.

​

ICLR are offering four days of work experience to BVL students in Year 12 and 13, across England and Wales. The opportunities are spread across six weeks in June, July and October. Over four days students will follow the below schedule:

​​

  • Tuesday: Tour of the Inns of Court and Royal Courts of Justice, and watching a case in the Court of Appeal

  • Wednesday: Day at the Supreme Court

  • Thursday: Day at ICLR with the various teams including the electronic production group and desk editors

  • Friday: Working from home, preparing a Weekly Law Report

The only eligibility requirements we have are that you will be 16 years or over at the time of the work experience and that you are studying for your A-Levels (or equivalent) at a non-fee paying school. All of our projects are free of charge for all students. â€‹
