Victoria Anderson

CEO
Passionate about improving social mobility in the legal profession, Victoria sets the strategic direction of the charity to ensure the maximum impact on the students it works with. Outside of BVL, Victoria is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Schillings International LLP, specialising in privacy law and reputation management.

Asma Abbarova

Vice Chair
Asma is currently training to become a Trademark Attorney at Kilburn & Strode. She obtained her LLB from the University of Kent in 2015 and her LLM in Media Law at Queen Mary, University of London in 2016. As Vice Chair, she hopes to motivate the students and help them realise their potential in their pursuit of a career in law.

Adrianna Wit
Board Member
Adrianna began her training contract in 2021. Having moved to the UK to pursue her legal studies she has faced challenges, exposure to which has developed her passion for improving social mobility. Now as a professional working in law, she is committed to helping and motivating young people to pursue a legal career in her capacity as board member at BVL.

Sophie Tenn
Board Member
As a Board Member and former Senior Coordinator, Sophie provides guidance to the Board on developing the charity and ensuring the best possible experience for the students. Alongside her work with BVL, Sophie is an Associate solicitor specialising in Finance at Travers Smith.

Vivian Matthews

Board Member
A former BVL student, Vivian studied History, English literature and French at Ursuline High School, winning the 2017 school prize for Academic Excellence.
Having recently graduated from the Cambridge University, Vivian is due to begin a training contract at a city law firm in 2025.

Chaya Gupta
Secretary
Chaya is an Associate solicitor specialising in Banking and Finance in Clyde & Co's Dubai office. Alongside her work as a solicitor, Chaya is keen to give back to the industry in as a board member for BVL. Born in India, she grew up in Dubai before moving to London. Having completed her LLB at Queen Mary, University of London, she pursued an LLM in International Business Law at LSE.
